Appointment & Logistics Support

Aesthetic Treatments in China

Looking like yourself again — clear, rested, exactly right.

Small, precise changes. The kind no one names — but everyone notices.

Modern aesthetic medicine has become genuinely precise — and China offers a range of treatments, devices, and surgical options that aren't widely available or accessible at comparable price points in most Western markets.

ChinaMed Waypoint is a coordination service, not a medical provider. We help arrange appointments and logistics. All medical decisions should be made with qualified healthcare professionals.

Does any of this sound familiar?

If it takes up more mental space than it should — you're not alone.

You look tired in photos when you weren't.

A shadow under the eyes, a heaviness at the jaw, a skin tone that's shifted. Not age — just a slow drift away from how you still feel you look inside.

It accumulates into something you notice every day.

Every well-lit bathroom, every video call, every occasion that got photographed. The noticing itself is the tiring part.

You're not after something obvious.

Not a dramatic transformation. You want to look rested — to have your face match how you feel on a genuinely good day.

You've looked into what's available at home.

One clinic. Two or three treatments. Prices that require real thought before you even know if it's what you want.

The specific things that bother you have precise answers.

A particular injectable, a specific device, a combination that works for your exact presentation. The difference is getting all of it in one place, from practitioners who do this every day.

You know what you'd change if you could. The question has always been access.

Why patients consider China

The same devices. The same products. A very different clinical landscape.

01

Treatments not widely available elsewhere

Certain injectables (PDRN, skin boosters), device protocols, and technique combinations used routinely in East Asia are simply not offered in most Western clinics.

02

High-volume practitioners — precision through repetition

For technique-dependent treatments — injection placement, thread lifting, laser calibration — volume translates directly into precision. Many practitioners here have treated thousands of patients with the same presentations.

03

Materially lower cost for comparable treatments

The same injectable brands and device models are often available at a fraction of private care pricing in the US, UK, or Western Europe — though the exact comparison varies by treatment, facility, and individual plan.

04

Combine treatments in a single curated visit

Injectables, an energy-based session, and a skin quality treatment can often be scheduled across two or three clinic days — a level of combination access that would take months to arrange individually at home.

05

Return home looking rested — not different

Non-surgical treatments typically carry same-day or next-day recovery. Surgical procedures require a longer recovery window — your care team will advise on realistic planning.

Non-surgical options

Precise tools for specific concerns.

General overview only. Suitability depends on skin type, health history, and physician assessment.

Injectable Treatments

Botulinum toxin · HA fillers · Skin boosters · PDRN/Polynucleotides

Botulinum toxin for dynamic lines, hyaluronic acid fillers for volume, and skin boosters or PDRN for hydration and skin quality. Product and placement are determined in consultation; longevity varies by product and individual.

  • No downtime for most injectable treatments
  • Products including PDRN not widely available outside East Asia
  • Results visible within days; some products develop over weeks

Energy-Based Skin Treatments

Thermage · Fotona 4D Pro · PicoSure 755nm · Fraxel

Devices available at our partner hospitals target texture, pigmentation, and skin quality in ways that injectables alone cannot. Device selection depends on skin type and concern — darker skin tones require specific consideration.

Thermage

RF collagen remodelling — lifting, tightening, wrinkle reduction

Fotona 4D Pro

Dual-wavelength laser — internal + external layered skin tightening

PicoSure 755nm

Picosecond laser — pigmentation, melanin breakdown, skin renewal

Fraxel

Non-ablative fractional laser — deeper skin resurfacing

  • Addresses texture, pigmentation, and skin quality specifically
  • Range from no-downtime to more intensive resurfacing protocols
  • Often combined with injectable treatments for comprehensive improvement
  • CoolSculpting (cryolipolysis) also available for localised fat reduction — see Medical Weight Management

Thread Lifting

PDO / PCL threads · Minimally invasive · Subtle lifting without surgery

Biodegradable PDO or PCL threads provide mild to moderate facial lifting in a short outpatient session. Results develop gradually over weeks and can last one to two years. Not a substitute for surgical correction of significant laxity.

  • No surgical incisions or general anaesthesia
  • Typically a few days of recovery
  • Gradual, natural-looking development over several weeks

Skin Quality Treatments

Hydrafacial · Mesotherapy · Brightening protocols · No downtime

Targeted treatments for dullness, dehydration, or uneven texture — including hydrafacials, mesotherapy, and brightening infusions. Often used as a preparatory or maintenance step alongside other procedures.

  • Immediate visible improvement — no downtime
  • Can be scheduled at the start or end of a trip
  • Complements energy-based and injectable treatments

For more significant changes

Surgical aesthetic procedures.

From eyelid surgery to rhinoplasty, facial contouring to body sculpting — performed by specialist teams at our partner hospitals. All require in-person clinical assessment; suitability must be determined by a qualified surgeon.

Surgical procedures involve greater complexity, recovery time, and individual risk. All surgical decisions must be made in full consultation with a qualified surgeon following thorough clinical assessment.

Eyelid Surgery

Face · Surgical

Double eyelid creation, brow lift, canthoplasty, eyelid bag removal, ptosis correction, and orbital fat repositioning. One of the most commonly performed procedures in China, with extensive specialist experience.

Facial Rejuvenation Surgery

Face · Surgical

Endoscopic wrinkle removal (forehead and midface lifting), facial liposuction, and autologous fat grafting for volume restoration. Considered where non-surgical correction is insufficient.

Facial Contouring

Face · Surgical

Chin augmentation, mandibular angle reduction, and zygomatic bone/arch surgery. Structural procedures that require thorough pre-operative imaging and specialist assessment.

Rhinoplasty

Face · Surgical

Nose augmentation with expandable silicone, nasal tip reshaping, and combined restructuring. Specialists here have extensive experience with rhinoplasty including Asian nasal anatomy.

Body Contouring (Liposuction)

Body · Surgical

Precise liposuction — circumferential waist and abdomen, other body areas, golden micro-sculpting. For more definitive localised results than non-invasive options can achieve.

Breast Surgery

Body · Surgical

Augmentation with implants (endoscopic available), ptosis correction, reduction, and accessory breast removal/liposuction. Requires comprehensive pre-operative assessment.

Abdominal Contouring

Body · Surgical

Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) for excess skin or significant abdominal laxity, commonly after weight loss or pregnancy. Typically general anaesthesia with several weeks of recovery.

Intimate Surgery

Body · Surgical

Vaginoplasty and related procedures at specialist facilities. Requires a thorough and confidential clinical consultation; individual assessment is essential.

How it works

A clear, supported process from first message to flying home.

2

Trip planning

We coordinate booking and travel logistics. You get a clear itinerary — including what to expect each day and how to plan around recovery time.

3

In-person consultation & treatment

Your specialist conducts a full assessment and confirms the most clinically appropriate approach. Many treatments are performed in the same or following session.

4

Recovery & aftercare coordination

We help with practical logistics and follow-up communication with the treating team. Most non-surgical treatments require minimal recovery.
