IMPORTANT: ChinaMed Waypoint is NOT a medical provider and does NOT offer medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment plans.
ChinaMed Waypoint ("we," "us," or "our") provides medical resource coordination services only. Our services are strictly limited to:
- Connecting patients with licensed healthcare providers in China
 - Coordinating hospital appointments and medical travel logistics
 - Providing translation and interpretation services
 - Facilitating communication between patients and healthcare facilities
 - Offering travel planning and accommodation assistance
 
We do NOT:
- Provide medical advice, diagnoses, prognoses, or treatment recommendations
 - Practice medicine or provide healthcare services
 - Replace consultations with qualified healthcare professionals
 - Guarantee treatment outcomes or medical results
 - Make medical decisions on behalf of patients
 
No Doctor-Patient Relationship
No doctor-patient relationship is established between ChinaMed Waypoint and users of our services. We are not licensed healthcare providers and do not employ medical doctors in a clinical capacity for patient care purposes.
Any medical information shared with us is for coordination purposes only. All medical decisions, diagnoses, and treatment plans must be made by qualified, licensed healthcare professionals at accredited medical facilities.
Limitation of Liability
ChinaMed Waypoint bears NO responsibility for:
- Medical outcomes, complications, or adverse events resulting from third-party healthcare services
 - The quality, safety, or effectiveness of medical treatments provided by healthcare facilities
 - Misdiagnoses, treatment errors, or medical malpractice by healthcare providers
 - Changes in medical condition during travel or treatment
 - Delays, cancellations, or modifications to medical appointments
 - Currency fluctuations, pricing changes, or unexpected medical costs
 - Travel complications, visa issues, or accommodation problems
 
Maximum Liability: In no event shall ChinaMed Waypoint's total liability exceed the amount paid by the user for our coordination services. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Privacy and Data Handling
Data Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and medical information:
- End-to-end encryption for all data transmission
 - Secure, encrypted storage of medical records and personal information
 - HIPAA-compliant data handling procedures
 - Limited access to information on a need-to-know basis
 - Regular security audits and updates
 
Information Sharing: We only share your medical information with:
- Healthcare providers you have chosen to receive treatment from

 - You will provide accurate and complete information for coordination purposes

User Responsibilities:
- Obtain appropriate travel insurance covering medical treatment abroad
 - Verify credentials and accreditation of healthcare providers
 - Follow all medical advice provided by licensed healthcare professionals
 - Comply with visa requirements and travel regulations
 - Inform us of any changes in medical condition or travel plans
 
Governing Law and Acceptance
Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China and international medical tourism regulations.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Beijing, China, conducted in English and Chinese.
Acceptance of Terms: By using our services, submitting consultation requests, or engaging with ChinaMed Waypoint in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and disclaimers.
Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
⚠️ Medical Emergency Disclaimer
IN CASE OF MEDICAL EMERGENCY: Do not contact ChinaMed Waypoint first. Call local emergency services immediately (120 in China, 911 in US, etc.). Our coordination services are not equipped to handle medical emergencies or provide urgent medical care.
