Visa Requirements Overview

International travelers visiting China typically require a tourist visa, commonly referred to as an 'L visa.' We recommend initiating your visa application approximately 60 days prior to your planned departure date. While we are unable to process Chinese visa applications on your behalf, our team is committed to providing comprehensive guidance throughout the application process and addressing any questions you may have. Additionally, we will furnish the requisite invitation letter to support your visa application.

Selecting the Appropriate Visa Category

For travelers planning a single entry into China, a single-entry visa will suffice for your needs. However, should your itinerary include departing mainland China—including visits to Taiwan or Hong Kong—followed by re-entry, a multiple-entry visa will be required.

Visa Exemption Policies

It is important to note that China maintains visa-free entry agreements with select countries, typically allowing stays ranging from 15 to 30 days. Nevertheless, we strongly advise consulting with the Chinese embassy or consulate in your home country to verify current visa requirements and confirm your specific eligibility status.

In-Person Visa Application Process

Should you choose to submit your tourist visa application in person, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Locate Your Nearest Chinese Diplomatic Mission

• Identify the Chinese embassy or consulate closest to your location
• Access the official website of the Chinese diplomatic mission in your country to obtain consulate addresses, visa application forms, and specific requirements for tourist visa submissions

Step 2: Submit Your Application

• Visit the consulate in person to lodge your completed visa application and present your passport
• Ensure all required documentation is complete and properly prepared

Step 3: Visa Collection

• Upon completion of visa processing, return to the consulate at the designated time
• Collect your processed visa and passport
